1. The skateboard mechanism uses a surface-compression spring-loaded plate to compress the spring, generating a reaction force that provides sufficient pressure to maintain stability. This mechanism features excellent spring safety and achieves performance levels comparable to international standards.
2. The structure features upper and lower door openings, making it convenient to disassemble and assemble the refractory materials and simple to operate. After the sliding carriage is pushed onto the connecting rod, no further manual operation is required. Therefore, this design is easy to use, with a reasonable and scientifically sound structure.
3. This slide-gate mechanism is a new-generation ladle slide-gate device developed by our company. Its most significant feature is the automatic application of surface pressure. By means of cylinder extension, it rapidly presses down both the sliding mold frame and the fixed mold frame, thereby achieving automatic surface-pressure loading. This greatly reduces labor intensity, ensures more uniform stress distribution between the slide plates, enhances the safety performance of the device, and increases the number of consecutive sliding cycles of the slide plates, reaching an internationally advanced level.

Ladle mechanism drive method
Straight-shank type
The drive cylinder is mounted on the ladle wall, and the driving force is transmitted to the sliding nozzle mechanism via a crank.
Advantages
The oil cylinder is farther from the tundish liquid level and thus experiences less heat, which is beneficial to the oil cylinder.
Disadvantages

Ladle mechanism drive method
Direct-acting
The drive cylinder and slide mechanism are mounted on the bottom of the ladle. Compared to crank-type mechanisms, the driving force is transmitted directly to the slide mechanism without going through any intermediate links.
Advantages
The oil cylinder is not fixed to the ladle; it’s generally detachable, and all ladles can share the same oil cylinders, thus reducing the number of oil cylinders needed.
Disadvantages
The oil cylinder is directly located at the bottom of the ladle, resulting in poor thermal conditions that affect its service life.
